Jessica Levin was awarded the Campbell Prize for Undergraduate Social Science Research. Her submission was based on her honors thesis, “Why Don’t People Drink the Tap Water? Trust, Perception, and Water Use in Antigua.” Ms. Levin’s research grew out of direct experience on Antigua. She earned a BA in May 2026 with a double major in Sociology and Anthropology and in Mathematics, with an English Minor. She has moved to Boston to work at WillisTowersWatson (WTW) as a Pension Analyst.
The Campbell Prize was established in honor of distinguished social scientist Donald T. Campbell, who was a Professor of Social Relations, Psychology, and Education at Lehigh until his retirement in 1994. Prizes of $1000 each are awarded to the undergraduate and graduate papers in the social sciences, broadly conceived, that are of the highest quality, methodological originality, and societal significance, as embodied in the work of the late Donald T. Campbell.
